P6 have been building upon their knowledge of our earth and its continents and done so by creating globes. They cut, stuck and labelled paper of the appropriate sizes and shapes onto volleyballs to represent each continent! They then attached elastic bands to represent the equator line, which also helped confirm if the positioning of their continents were accurate as they cross referenced with atlases.
