R/P1 enjoyed exploring the tuff trays during indoor play today! One was filled with puff balls and tweezers to practise fine motor and sorting skills, and another featuring a Humpty Dumpty made from Rice Krispies sitting on a wall of Weetabix! This offered a wonderful sensory experience, as the children used tools to try and put Humpty back together again, though it proved tricky with the materials we had. We’ll experiment with different resources next time to see how we can rebuild him. Alongside this, the children also enjoyed using the iPads, playing with playdough, and exploring the sand tray.
